Created, organised and produced by Fonart, SONSDENIT is not simply a series of
concerts. It is a way of looking at music in relation to places, to people, to ecology, and
to the times we are living through.
Each festival date is born from the encounter
between an artist and a singular space in the Balearic Islands: courtyards, cloisters,
castles, sanctuaries, theatres, squares or corners of historical, architectural or natural
heritage that are not merely a backdrop, but a living part of the experience.
In 2026, under the slogan BREAK THE WEAPON. FEEL THE MUSIC, SONSDENIT
sparks a small but powerful rebellion: against those who believe in the power of
weapons, we choose the power of music; against the noise of violence, the sound that
brings people together; against destruction, beauty; against war, culture. The image of
the broken rifle, charged with the symbolic force of the olive branch, reminds us that
peace is not an abstract idea: it can also be made of place, memory, community and
concrete gestures.
As every year, SONSDENIT also connects culture with social and environmental
commitment. In this edition, 1€ from every ticket sold will go to 3 Salut Mental,
supporting their work for mental health, social inclusion and people’s dignity.
- At every
concert, we will also run La Cultura Alimenta, a solidarity food collection for local
social organisations and charities;
- and we invite audiences to join our No Plastic
campaign by bringing their own reusable bottle or cup, using the festival’s free water
fountains and helping us avoid unnecessary waste.
