PAU ALABAJOS

VERSOS A LA VIETNAMITA
ANTOLOGIA INCOMPLETA DE LA POESIA CATALANA ANTIFRANQUISTA

Valencian singer-songwriter Pau Alabajos is one of the most committed and poetic voices on today’s Catalan-language music scene. With over two decades of artistic career behind him, his work moves between contemporary folk, social activism and historical memory, always with a sharp eye on the present.

Alabajos sings from the roots and toward the future: with lyrics born of the body, the land and critical thought, he has turned music into a tool for resistance, tenderness and awareness.

His career, both intense and consistent, has taken him to stages around the world — always with one foot in the trenches and the other in beauty. He has set key poets to music, defended the right to sing in one’s own language, and kept alive the tradition of protest song, revitalised through the lens of a new generation.

Pau doesn’t just perform songs — he builds emotional and political landscapes where rage, tenderness, hope and memory all have a place.

As part of his new stage offering, Pau Alabajos and his group invite us on a sonic and emotional journey through Catalan anti-Franco poetry.

Verses in Vietnamese is much more than a concert: it is an act of active memory, a tribute to the voices that resisted the dictatorship with words as their only weapon.

Pau explores poems by Salvador Espriu, Maria Mercè Marçal, Vicent Andrés Estellés, Marc Granell or Joan Margarit, transformed into songs that vibrate with a renewed strength.

A soundtrack of collective courage, a declaration of love for freedom.

PAZ AGUADO

  • Paz Aguado, guitarra i veu.
  • Patrició Felip, baix electric i cors.
  • Cani Huertas, percussion.

From the island of Formentera, with a Valencian soul, a poetic gaze and a voice of her own, Paz Aguado invites us on an intimate and vibrant sonic journey.

Songs born from the heart and sung with an embracing voice, like a thread of light weaving through inner and natural landscapes.

A visual artist, poet and singer-songwriter, Paz weaves her music with healing intention. .Her songs bloom from silence, .blending the simplicity of acoustic pop, the ancient pulse of folk and the emotional depth of rock.

With her voice and Spanish electro-acoustic guitar at the centre, she is joined by Cani Huertas on percussion and Patricio Felip on electric bass and backing vocals.

Her art is a space for transformation — personal and collective. Listening to her feels like walking through a delicate forest where each word and note becomes a seed for something greater.

She will open a beautiful evening in the gardens of the Torre dels Enagistes in Manacor, before Pau Alabajos takes the stage.

A night of names that mean “peace” — and of music that gently plants it in the air.
